Courteney Cox
Courteney Cox is the American actress, director and producer. Her most well-known work is her performance in the TV show "Friends" and for her role in the principal roles of the "Scream" movie franchise. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama and developed an interest in acting when she was an infant. She was enrolled in the study of architectural studies in Mount Vernon College in Washington, DC But, she ultimately left school to pursue an acting career. The actress made her film debut when she starred in the film 'Down Twisted'. She started gaining popularity after she played one the important parts in the horror slasher film "Scream'. The film was profitable commercially, and it earned eleven times its budget. Also, it was praised by public and critics. Cox reprised her part in the 3 sequels of the film. Her fame soared to the heights of her career after playing the main character in the popular sitcom 'Friends'. There were numerous nominations and awards for her performance. The show with a huge commercial success, ran for ten years. Some of her most recent roles include a part in the film drama "Mothers and daughters". A few of the prizes she won include her TV Guide Award as a result of the performance she made in 'Friends' and the Golden Derby Award for her performance in the TV program 'Cougartown'.
