Catherine Tate measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Catherine Ford was born in Bloomsbury, London; her father had abandoned the family, and so she was fostered by her mother grandmother and godparents. In her childhood, Ford suffered anxiety due to an obsessional-compulsive disorder. Ford began performing in her teens, and was an actor in the National Youth Theatre. She got into the Sylvia Young Theatre School. But after just one week she decided it wasn't the right fit for her. Ford decided to apply instead for admission to the Central School of Speech and Drama and was eventually offered an interview on her fourth attempt. Shaun Dingwall - who later was the character Pete Tyler in Doctor Who was among Ford's classmates. Ford was not able to finish her studies in 1993. But, by 1991, Ford had made her first television appearance in a show called Surgical Spirit. At that moment, Ford adopted the stage name Catherine Tate. In the Nineties, Tate could be watched on television in programs including The Bill, Men Behaving Badly and London's Burning. She worked on stage regularly, and joined The Royal Shakespeare Company's 2000-2001 season. Tate received recognition as a stand-up comedian that has been added to her portfolio in 1996.
