Awkwafina
Awkwafina began as a American rapper and singer, performing sly tunes that dealt with issues such as racial and sexual identity with a comedic twist. Before expanding into Hollywood the singer was able to release a number of songs. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. Born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the daughter of Chinese immigrants and Korean immigrants. After a classical and jazz education She delved into hip-hop when she was an teen. While in college, she took classes in journalism and women's studies. She even spent some time learning Mandarin at the University of Beijing. It wasn't until she graduated that she begin to concentrate on music. Her My Vag song, My Vag which was her reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick, became a popular viral sensation on the Internet and later appeared on her debut album Yellow Ranger. It also contained popular hits that went viral, such as body-positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown New York Bitche$. The latter song was linked directly with another Awkwafina project NYC Travel Guide, which was published in the year 2015. After having a great career as a performer She chose to assume the role of actor. In addition to early series that included Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in movies Neighbors 2 Storks and Bad Rap. Her breakout performances included Dude Ocean's 8, as well as Crazy Rich Asians. The EP was released by in Fina We Trust in June in the same year.
